Filming Day 1- Saturation

Group Photo After Shooting
Today was our first day of filming, our plan to film at our set location had failed due to the poor weather conditions, so we decided to film what we could indoors.
We began by filming our main female protagonist in our photography studio with the backdrop and lights. By doing it in the photography room, it meant we was able to control the lighting ourselves, we used 4 different lighting sources, the classroom lights and 3 studio lights, one to the left and two to the right. However, due to the quality of the background, it meant we had to change the setting on the camera, to make sure our background came across as a plain black rather that grey due to the harsh lights. We set the camera to -4.0 exposure, this helped the background, and with the studio lights, we was able to keep our protagonist well lit.
We tested the scene first to make sure the quality turned out, which it did. After rehearshing the actions our protagonist would do. Our protagonist was also great at improvising her own choreography and listen to directions well.
