Inspirational Music Video #15- Wasn't Expecting That

Jamie Lawson portrays the journey of life within a 3 minute music video, he shows the ups and downs or a couple in love. The concept of the video matches the lyrical content perfectly. However, the video is rewinding time, showing them in their elderly age, as it reverts back to their young love days, at the end of the video, they show the couple in the hardest part of saying goodbye. I feel this was effective as it gave the audience a chance to learn about the life of these two, they understood the love they have for each other, making the sad ending sudden, this also makes you remember the video if it touches you personally. Having the sudden twist in the end, after the happy song, with cheerful lyrics, also makes the video more memorable for audiences. I love the idea of reversing the time, and then going back to the ending, this gives the sense of a flashback video.
