This music video by Bring Me The Horizon holds a huge amount of creative aspects throughout the video, something i particularly love within a music video, seeing the creative side of the musicians. This video is a mixture of an abstract and performance video. By having the use of double exposure in video effect creates such a visually appealing piece that intrigues the eye, as it includes such a simple shot with a simple white background and creates a different piece of art, and by having these segments right at the beginning of the video, it keeps the audience watching intently. The video does link to Andrew Goodwin's theory by portraying the star image and having the editing match the music and the lyrics have parts that match. Throughout the video, there is also a big contrast featured continuously with the high key lighting to low key, but also he change in background colours, i find this technique in music videos effective as it really shows the sense of different locations and keeps the viewer watching.
