Digipak Stages

Once the front cover of the digipak was done, as i was doing a standard 4 sided digi, it meant that i only ha 3 more to do.

For the back cover, i decided to keep it rather simple and again, have the artist to the right of the frame, which i didnt do when taking the picture, thus resorting me to adding a black bar so the sides would match up. I choose to use the same font from the band logo as the band tracklist and information as it is the style that will be with the band throughout, where as the animal font is only for one album.

For the inside, i decided to do more of an artistic style, taken from Paramore's album, Riot where they repeated the band name in a hand written style so i created an animal collage, using a huge range of fonts that i downloaded from 'DaFont.com'

Once the page was filled, i didnt want the two middle sections to be drastically different so i decided to invert the image, which when i saw them back to back worked well.

For the actual CD i decided to go for a stereotypical style of having an aggressive animal, so that if the CD was out of the case, youd know straight away what the album was called. I used a secondary image from google of a tiger which was realistic. Made it so the threshold was high, keeping hold of the details but making it more artistic to match the background.

Finally to make the spin of the digipak, so i added the essential details that someone would use to spot the digipak straight away.
